Sunday School

It is better, much better, to have

wisdom and knowledge than gold and silver.

---Proverbs 16:16

Sunday School begins at 9:45 am, Sunday mornings.  FUMC offers fifteen classes, each with unique groups who discover and learn God's word through a variety of methods. From group discussions that tackle modern issues, to peer led Bible studies, to teacher theological studies, FUMC has a class that meets your needs.  For more information about any of our classes, please contact Wayne Ford.

20th Century Class

Taught by Lexa Ford, the 20th Century Class uses Cokesbury's Adult Bible Studies.  They organize two social events each year, including a Christmas Open House at a member's home.  They have two projects at present:  the George Sneed Memorial Endowment Fund, which provides scholarships to worthy Oklahoma City University students, and the Earl Hamon Endowment Fund, which supplies scholarships to students at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  These funds have a combined total of $146,377.88.

The 20th Century Class meets in Sneed Chapel.
